Peonies in the garden
We moved to our current home at the end of June last year, and whilst the garden was alive with colour, we missed the flowering period of the peonies. There are only 3 in the garden, 2 of which I transplanted from our previous house and being relatively young plants they have not yet produced any flower buds. This year, however, we saw the blossoming of one peony (still unsure what it’s name is) in all its glory! Sadly, peonies flower for a relatively short period of time, approximately 7-10 days. If you are planning a wedding for May/June, they certainly a make statement in any floral arrangement.
